The Paradise 60 has been specifically designed for a couple wishing to venture offshore on long passages and to spend extended periods of time at anchor in comfort.

Like many of you, we the owners — Carl and Sandra Soares — dreamed of sailing to far off destinations on a safe yacht that was easy to sail by a couple. With our children grown, we now have the desire and opportunity to set a new course of adventure on our own ‘Paradise Bound’.

All of the design features incorporated in the Paradise 60 have been based on comfort, safety and ease of handling. With three (3) years spent on pre-design concepts and drafts, we feel confident that we have indeed achieved our primary ideals, without compromise and are well satisfied with the final product.

Primarily made to be sailed by two, we have not forgotten the joy and fulfillment of having family and close friends share in the experience. With this in mind, we have ensured that the Paradise 60 allows for an open unique design throughout the galley and shared quarters, as well as being able to provide sleeping accommodations for a maximum of seven adults.
